Cooling off day today

It seems that no candidates and party vehicles are arround in my constituency. Just below my HDB block is a polling station at the pavilian and a police is guarding the area. Earlier this afternoon, the pavilian had been reserved for the polling station and other HDB void decks, community clubs and schools have been used as polling stations in all contested constituency.

Cooling off day is when no rallies and campanigning is allowed so as to let voters to carefully think who they want to represent into parliament.

Also, tomorrow is polling day where all eligible electors will go to their designated polling station stated on their poll card to vote. The polling station will be open from 8am till 8pm. Then, ballot box will be sealed and will be sent to counting centres where votes will be counted. After counting, the number of votes in the constituency will be known to the returning officer and will announce the results, "Live".

You may go to my twitter account (moshiyenwei), from 9.30pm (+8 GMT) for the results in each and every constituency contested which I will post it in my twitter page. Please take note that the results for other constituency yet to announce may take till the wee hours of the morning on 8 May.

You may also acces to (http://www.ge.sg/) for the results but may take a few minutes to be shown after the results are annouced.
