Mas Selamat escape story to be shown on television

Mas Selamat Kastari, one of the most wanted terrorist escaped from from a high security detention centre in Singapore on February 2008, the whole region is on high alert.

Mas Selamat Kastari is leader of the notorious Jemaah Islamiyah: a terror organisation based in Singapore and linked to Al Qaeda. Jemaah Islamiyah has carried out deadly bombings in South East Asia – and Mas Selemat is known to have devised plans aimed at destroying major landmarks in Singapore.

The Singapore army and police launch the biggest manhunt in the history of the country to track down the fugitive – but Mas Selamat has slipped under the radar, and is in hiding somewhere in southern Malaysia. The Malaysian police must find and capture this fanatical jihadist – before it’s too late.
